SRO Programs: Programs which are being developed

• Volunteer and Internship Services (VIS)

SRO will offer volunteers and interns the opportunity to give meaningful help to the community

in need and foster an environment of companionship among workers and clients in the 5 boroughs.

• Family Support Program (FSP)
   

  This program creatively delivers services to women, children and families. The goal is to support parents as they

  foster their children and to aid the children's future and development so they may reach their true goals and

  potentials. The families have and will continue to work together and will do family events and activities together. 

  In the future there will be a Social Worker and child coordinator on premises.  Our social worker and events

  coordinator will organize activities for the children, speakers for the mothers, and outside field trips and other

  events for all who participate.

   

• Youth Program

SISTAZ Reaching Out Youth Programs is for increasing community participation and commitment to our 

youth. In addition, we offer additional support to young girls who are looking for help such as teen 

pregnancy, runaways and abused teens; be it physical, verbal or emotional abuse they may be facing. 

We will support them by providing the best help by referring them to the appropriate agencies, resources 

and assistance in the New York and New Jersey States. SRO Youth Programs work with our youth between 

the ages of 9 to 17 year-old and we will help them develop character and leadership, while increasing their levels 

of self esteem and confidence to engage in positive, healthy lifestyles. We will encourage them to become 

STRONGER YOUNG WOMEN AND MEN; WHILE PREPARING THEM TO PROCEED IN LIFE AS INDEPENDENT AND 

POWERFUL INDIVIDUALS AND POSITIVE ROLE MODELS TO THE YOUNGER GENERATION.
