SISTAZ Reaching Out is an organization dedicated to empowering,
strengthening and supporting women; the organization is also
dedicated to providing tangible support to the woman and children of
its participants of today’s society.
SISTAZ
Reaching Out works to improve the quality of life of its
participants by providing them with support, wisdom, help, positive
messages, and the knowledge that there are people (other women) out
there for them to talk to and who are just like them; to pursue
their dreams and a better way of life. We believe we can make the
world a better place to live, one individual at a time.
SRO is a non-profit organization focusing on women, children, youth
and families of the community and for the homeless, poor, and
disadvantaged in the tri-state areas that will provide
companionship, meals, provisions, appropriate council, referrals to
other community services, basic medical services, educational,
childcare support and assistance and other feasible services to the
clients and the community.

provide support and assistance to the women of the community. SRO
was founded by pulling out this organization from the “SISTAZ”
Women’s Support Group which was created in 2002 on the basis that
all women are welcome and that each woman who passes through our
door is to be treated with the same respect and dignity that one
would provide to a guest in their own home. Additionally, our
mission is to provide help, where possible, so that each person who
comes to us will have an opportunity to Succeed, Have Hope &
Happiness, Overcome Obstacles, Utilize Your Power and Take Charge.
SRO plans to achieve its goals by providing services, referrals,
assistance, motivational support and understanding; as well as
dedication and other tangible support to women
SRO Motive, goals and present and future services are to work with
the youth and family and to strengthen the family unit and introduce
the youth to community supports and resources to be utilized after

promising career.
