SRO Future Programs: Programs that are coming soon.

 

  • SRO Toddler and Youth Development (TYD)

SRO Toddler and Youth Development give the Toddlers Room to Grow and the youth opportunities in finding themselves.  SRO TYD is a program designed to meet the needs of pre-school (3-5 years old) children who require care while parents work and the youth to assist with after school programs and utilizing their talents in educational and talent areas where they are interested in. It will be a state-licensed facility, school readiness funded, which will provide on-premises child and youth care by a team of professionals.

  • SRO Domestic Violence Education program (DVEP)

     

    SRO will provide a Domestic Violence Education program which will be formed by educate the prevention and intervention in instances of domestic violence and abuse.

    The program will compile a resource kit which we will make available to professional and volunteer staff of SRO. The kit will contain family suggestions, community resources and contacts, safety plans and procedures, hot line and emergency numbers, as well as basic educational materials about incidence stages, affects and outcomes of family violence.

     

  • SRO Women’s New Day Program (WNDP)

     

    This program will be dedicated to women who are trapped in destructive and painful lifestyles.  Often driven by their addictions, they trade their self-respect for drugs or are beaten into submission by boyfriends or husbands.  With SRO WNDP, they will begin to regain their self-respect, eliminate drug or alcohol dependency and develop into newly self-confident women.  In addition, there will be specific issues that are addressed during individual counseling and group sessions.

     

  • SRO Case Management Program (CMP)

SRO Case Management Program will provide case management services that engage clients with psychiatric disabilities, and assess their needs for services and resources, develop a collaborative plan to achieve goals, link them to the agencies that offer the services, coordinate and monitor the ongoing service to assure continuity, and supporter on behalf of the client when needs are changed or are not being met. Some of the services and resources obtained include financial assistance, housing, clinical/medical treatment, employment, education, and other services necessary to living a healthy, constructive and productive life.

  • SRO Disabilities Housing Program (DHP)

SRO Disabilities Housing Program will address and assist and refer the needs of a special individuals with identified disabilities and who without the assistance of government programs to affordable assistance and housing for special needs individuals, so they can look at the positive aspects of their lives and realize they are just like a normal person despite their disability.  This assistance will be a need for without affordable housing; individuals would likely remain or become homeless. This further serves to strengthen the family component and make it possible for families to remain connected.

  • SRO Disabilities Employment Program (DEP)

SRO Disabilities Employment Program will address and employ individuals with disabilities where it will be hard for them to work in today’s society.  SRO realizes that it is harder and difficult for an individual with a disability to obtain employment.  SRO DEP program will provide or refer employment to a ha ndful of individuals with disabilities, whether it is volunteer, internship or salary positions…..SRO reaches out to the individuals with disabilities.

  • SRO Personal and Professional Development Program (PPDP)


    SRO will assist and will provide services to help you succeed at work and at home by:

  • Basic needs assistance

  • Referrals to a variety of specialized services

  • Building clients self-esteem

  • Assist and help identify problems that interfere with work or home.

  • How to handle and deal with stress

  • Assisting and helping obtaining services from state and community-based agencies

  • Being a “Team-Player” and getting along with your co-workers and others

  • Financial Managing and budgeting skills

  • Helping and assisting you in identifying your path and planning for the future

  • Providing and finding reliable and safe childcare

  • Improving your job performance and keeping your job….the do’s and don’t of being and

    employee

  • Interviewing techniques (What to wear, how to interview, how to respond, what to ask,  presenting yourself professionally, selling yourself to the interviewee)
